Data collection when visiting the website
As a rule, our website can be used without providing personal data. Where personal data (for example name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
We hereby expressly object to the use by third parties of contact details published in accordance with the legal notice requirement for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam emails.
Contact and enquiry form
If you use the contact form or the enquiry form on this website, we process the data you enter there in order to handle your enquiry. Your email address, your consent and a request are mandatory — either as a message or, in the enquiry form, as a selection of the products you are interested in. Without this information we cannot reply. Name, phone number and company are voluntary. The data is transmitted by email to our mailbox; it is not passed on to third parties.
To defend against automated mass submissions, we check every form submission before it is processed. In doing so, we store for no longer than 24 hours a hash of your IP address from which the address cannot be recovered, and, in a log, the time, the check rule that was triggered, the domain of the email address entered, the length of your message and technical characteristics of the transmission (for example, whether your browser sends certain standard headers). Your IP address itself, your full email address and the content of your message are not stored there. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the trouble-free operation of the form and in protection against misuse (Art. 6 (1) point (f) GDPR (DSGVO)). The log entries are continuously overwritten. We do not use third-party services — such as a captcha — for this purpose.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) point (b) GDPR (DSGVO) where the enquiry serves to initiate or perform a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) point (a) GDPR (DSGVO) on the basis of the consent you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future, for example informally by writing to info@idencom.com; the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point remains unaffected.
We delete enquiries as soon as they have been finally dealt with and no statutory retention periods prevent this. For documents of relevance under commercial or tax law, the periods of Section 257 HGB (German Commercial Code) and Section 147 AO (German Fiscal Code) of six and ten years respectively apply.
Cookies
This website currently does not set any cookies and does not integrate any analytics or marketing services. Should this change, this section will be updated and a consent banner will be introduced.
Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR (DSGVO)) — as to whether and which data we process about you.
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR (DSGVO)) — we must correct inaccurate data and complete incomplete data.
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR (DSGVO)) — unless a statutory retention obligation prevents this.
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR (DSGVO)).
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR (DSGVO)) — provision in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR (DSGVO)) — to processing that we base on a legitimate interest.
- Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR (DSGVO)) — at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise these rights, an informal message to info@idencom.com or to the address given in the Legal notice is sufficient.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Irrespective of this, you can lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal data with a data protection supervisory authority at any time (Art. 77 GDPR (DSGVO)). The authority responsible for us is:
